Join us & a bunch of nature lovers in Half Moon Bay this Sunday 11/15/09 for the LAST negative tide day of the year. Tides start flushing out about 1pm and the reef should be totally walkable by 2pm. We'll stick around and watch the spectacular sunset at 5pm, and the tides will still be out so sunset will be viewable from very unusual angles on the reef.
When: Sunday 11/15/09, Any time between about 1pm - 5pm. The reef should be totally walkable by about 2pm.
Where: Half Moon Bay, just outside of Pillar Point Harbor .
PERFECT for kids, of all ages. In fact I've never met a kid who wasn't captivated by the unbelievable collection of sea critters on the reef.
This is not a guided tour, there is no charge for anything, this is just a rare opportunity to see some really cool stuff. Please have everybody RSVP online if they can join us (lots more pictures on this webpage!)
