我的Lexus 聽見我哀嚎的聲音嗎？才想買台RX 400H (Hybrid) 來開開看，他就給我出事。
侯先生很開心地說：「不是我不買給妳喔！買了妳敢開嗎？」
幾年前，Lexus 剛剛推出RX 400H (Hybrid)我就一直想要那輛車，在做完所有的研究，最後為了買白色或珍珠白和侯先生僵持不下，最後索性不買。(我還是很有個性的。) 雖然出事的不是這款車型，但看完新聞還是令人望之卻步，看來我還真沒有開好車的命。



Toyota Recalls Lexus Cars Due to a Fiery Accident!

Just a minute before the crash, the driver called police and said the car had no brakes, and that the accelerator was stuck. The unstoppable car was going at over 120 mph when it hit a sport-utility vehicle. It launched off an embankment, rolled repeatedly, and then burst into flames.

This horrific accident is prompting Toyota Motor company to review previous allegations of unintended acceleration caused by floor mat interference.

"The tragic accident in San Diego was certainly an eye opener for all of us," said Senior Vice President Irving Miller. He further said the company could not quantify the number of complaints, nor could it estimate the cost of the safety campaign.

An excerpt of a press release on Toyota Motor’s website entitled "Lexus Consumer Safety Advisory Potential Floor Mat Interference with Accelerator Pedal" reads:

"Recent events have prompted Toyota to take a closer look at the potential for an accelerator pedal to get stuck in the full open position due to an unsecured or incompatible driver's floor mat. A stuck open accelerator pedal may result in very high vehicle speeds and make it difficult to stop the vehicle, which could cause a crash, serious injury or death. Until Toyota develops a remedy, it is asking owners of specific Toyota and Lexus models to take out any removable driver’s floor mat and NOT replace it with any other floor mat. The following models are affected:

• 2007 – 2010 ES350
• 2006 – 2010 IS250 and IS350 "
